ISO 19011:2002 Guidelines for Quality and/or Environmental Management Systems Auditing

The course aims at giving the internal auditors the necessary knowledge in ISO 9001:2008 and ISO 19011:2002.The course participants are going to develop theoretical and practical skills for planning, organization, internal audits performance and documentation of management systems according to ISO 9001:2008 and ISO 19011:2002.

The course is designed for organizations that have implemented or are in process of implementation of Quality Management Systems (QMS) on the basis of ISO 9001:2008. The responsible persons of the organizations are supposed to possess an appropriate qualification, according to the standard’s requirements and the organizations are supposed to possess evidence for this.

Participation in the course is a form of keeping and improvement of employees’ qualification in the organizations in the way that is noted in the requirements of ISO 9001:2008 cl. 6.2.2, Human resources. Competence, training and awareness.

DURATION: two days, 18 school hours total, included 12 school hours for theory, 4 school hours – practical skills, 2 school hours – examination.

PROGRAMME

First day:
09:00 – 10:00	Meeting with the participants. Introducing the course’s goals. Management systems and the significance of ISO 9001. Changes in the last version of the standard.
10:00 – 10:20	Coffee break
10:20 – 12:00	Presentation of ISO 9001:2008 standard – basic principles of management according to ISO 9000; Sphere and field of usage; terms and definitions.
12:00 – 13:00	Lunch
13:00 – 14:00	Presentation of ISO 9001:2008 standard - general requirements, management responsibility; management of resources.
14:00 – 14:30	Presentation of ISO 9001:2008 standard – product development.
14:30 – 15:00	Coffee break
15:00 – 16:00	Presentation of ISO 9001:2008 standard – measurement, analysis and improvement.
16:00 – 17:00	Generalization and discussion with the participants.
Second day:
09:00 – 10:00	Introduction. Reasons for auditing. Types of audits and advantages. Exercises.
10:00 – 10:20	Coffee break
10:20 – 12:00	Presentation of ISO 19011:2002 – part one – basic principles; requirements for auditors. Exercises.
12:00 – 13:00	Lunch
13:00 – 14:00	Presentation of ISO 19011:2002 – practising how to conduct an audit and to report results. Exercises.
14:00 – 14:30	Coffee break
14:30 – 16:30	Examination

The course participants are to pass an exam on the material that has been taught.

The course participants will receive:

Educational tool containing materials on the presented lectures;
Certificate for participation in an internal auditors training course (ISO 19011:2002, ISO 9001:2008)
The individuals that have successfully passed the exam will obtain an Internal Auditor Certificate.
