1. Inquiry/Proposal ICR Bulgaria consults the company about the general procedures and methods of certification before conducting the certification audit. ICR Bulgaria sends a proposal sheet to the customer. 2. Certification Application ICR Bulgaria concludes a certification contract with the customer upon reception of the certification application. 3. Notification of Audit plan After concluding a contract for certification, ICR Bulgaria notifies its customer regarding the detailed audit program and the audit team. 4. Pre-assessment [Optional]
The purpose of the pre-assessment audit is to give an improvement chance to the system
prior to audit. In case of company request, it might be conducted.
5. Stage 1 assessment [Document review] The document review of the system, structure, organization and the degree of implementation are conducted on-site by an auditor in order to confirm the conformity of the management system with the standard/s. During this visit the second stage of the certification audit is planned. 6. Stage 2 assessment [On-site audit] Stage 2 audit is conducted to confirm whether the certification application for the standard and the management system of the organization actually meet the audit requirements through on-site audit. If the system meets the requirement of the standard, by means of objective evidence, it is recommended for certification. 7. Corrective action of non-conformity In case nonconformities arise the organization takes the necessary actions for their elimination. 8. Certification Consideration The certification committee of International Certification Registrar Co. Ltd takes a decision regarding the certification through evaluation of the whole audit process and the collected written evidence. After the decision for certification has been taken a certificate is issued to the customer. 9. Surveillance audit Surveillance is conducted in order to verify whether the certified organization carries out the certification stipulation or not and to verify the certificate validity; it is conducted on the basis of the on-site audit procedure. The periodic surveillance cycle can not exceed12 months. 10. Renewal audit Recertification audit is conducted for the sake of renewal of the certificate every 3 years. It is also conducted on the basis of the same procedures, as with the initial certification audit. |
